Le recenti cronache di politica del nostro paese hanno visto protagonista la nostra ex "ministra" dell'Istruzione Gelmini per il famoso tunnel che, a suo dire collegherebbe il laboratorio del Gran Sasso con il CERN di Ginevra per gli esperimenti sui neutrini. Ovviamente non c'è alcun tunnel sotterraneo che collega il Gran Sasso a Ginevra. Affermazione poi rettificata con l'applomb infantile di chi è scivolato sulla classica buccia di banana e difronte al ginocchio sbucciato dice "non è successo niente ma la spinta me l'ha data lui", un suo collaboratore. 

Il paese di Enrico Fermi e del contemporaneo Antonio Ereditato (Professore Ordinario di Fisica delle particelle elementari presso l'Università di Berna), fisici di fama mondiale meriterebbero una classe politica dirigente più informata e meno deficitaria della conoscenza e della scienza prodotta dalle menti di questa nazione italiana. La distanza siderale tra i funzionari della politica e la scienza, la mancata conoscenza reale di questo nostro paese è un'offesa alla intelligenza del paese di Leonardo, Galileo, Volta, Marconi, ecc. Nessuno dei due la "ministra" ed il suo collaboratore avevano letto l'articolo del giornale LA STAMPA o visto la puntata di Atlantide trasmessa dal network televisivo LA 7, noi si e ci siamo dati una migliore ed intelligente spiegazione al fenomeno fisico studiato anche dai nostri scienziati.

In merito alla fuga all'estero dei nostri ricercatori italiani, alcune cifre consistenti sono state rese note a fine novembre dalla trasmissione RAI "Leonardo" che riferiva di 90.000 ricercatori italiani impiegati negli U.S.A.
